| The 2009 Kalamazoo MSU Alumni Golf Outing held at The Moors Golf Club this past summer, was a big success and a lot of fun for all. Steve Smith, our partner and host was a big reason for that success. The money raised will benefit both Steve's foundation and our local MSU Alumni Foundation. Thanks to everyone who participated! |

On May 27, 2009 at Frederik Meijer Gardens in Grand Rapids, loyal Spartans fans had the opportunity to meet with the head coaches of Michigan State. The event, which was sponsored by the MSU Alumni Association, the Spartan Fund and the Athletic Department of MSU, gave the fans a chance to ask questions of the coaches, have them sign memorabilia, and have pictures taken.
Seventeen of the nineteen head coaches were available, headed by the Athletic Director Mark Hollis.

2008 MSU Alumni Summer Golf Outing
The MSU Alumni Club of Kalamazoo hosted their annual Golf Outing at The Moors Golf Club on Monday, May 12, 2008. The event sold out in only 30 days. Our featured guests were Athletic Director Mark Hollis and Women's Volleyball Coach Kathy George. The event raised over $14,000 to benefit our local endowment fund, Spartan Athletics, Breast Pump Clinic of Kalamazoo County, TJ Duckett Foundation and the Greg Jennings Foundation.
